Ranking the Best Knotted Toys
I didn’t start out as a huge fan of knotted toys because they take a lot of work-up to master. A 4 inch diameter tapered toy is a lot easier to take than a knot with diameter of 4 inches due to the sudden increase. Nonetheless, I decided to give some knotted toys a try and now I’m a big fan. Check out my rankings below (keep in mind I’m a very experienced user).

Bad Dragon – Nova XL Dildo
I got my Nova XL from Bad Dragon in soft shaft firm base as a flop for $160. Purchased at the same time as my new Austin XL in split firmness (idk, I guess I got lucky with the drops!). I really like my Nova XL. He has a satisfying knot (that’s bigger than you’d expect from the looks of it) at 4 inches in diameter. It’s doable but just be mindful that the shaft before the knot is wider than toys like Austin or Tucker or especially Rex. That makes the knot easier to take (width-wise) but you have to make it to the knot first (which the wider shaft can make more difficult).
The grooves and texture on the Nova are excellent. This is another area that sets him apart from some of the other knotted toys. The dildo isn’t definted by the knot. Kind of like Seraphina (which I feel confident in saying nobody would ever be able to knot in XL form), the Knot is an added bonus but the dildo is completely enjoyable if you can’t master the knot.
I got my toy with a cumtube and a suction cup (again, I got lucky with a flop drop), in a wonderful coloration. It’s listed as a rogue color so I don’t have any clue what it is, but I really like it. Nova has no problem standing on his own and the suction cup works very well.
No negatives to think of, Nova is a great toy!

Naughty Fox – Santos XL/XXL
I bought the Santos XL/XXL dildo from Naughty Fox when they were having a sale a couple months ago, I think I got mine for 20% off? Mine was an in stock toy and I paid 203 + shipping. Because I got an in stock toy I had no choice of firmness or color or accessories. My Santos XL/XXL is medium firmness with no vac-u-lock hole.
You’ll notice that I keep saying XL/XXL and the reason is because I’m not sure what size this is. I bought an XXL, the product page mentions XXL in the description but the sizes available for ordering stop at XL. I’m going to call it XXL for the rest of the review since that’s what the product sizes chart says.
The medium firmness on my Santos XXL is pretty firm. I would have picked soft firmness if I had a choice (and honestly I could have just made a custom order), but I bought medium since it was what was in stock. Getting a softer firmness is a double edged sword as always, while it’s easier to compress the head of a soft firmness toy, it’s also easier to compress the shaft which makes it harder to force in, so honestly I’m not sure what the right firmness is.
Santos is a BIIIIG toy. Sneakily the 3rd biggest horse dildo head I own (behind the Brooklyn Supreme from TTC and the Italian Stallion from JTT), actually Santos might be the widest horse toy with a head that’s over 4.3 inches wide. I think my Brooklyn Supreme is 3.9 and 3.9 where Santos XXL is 4.3 and 3.5 so the two are very close. I have managed to take my Santos XXL (but only once), the same problem exists with the Brooklyn Supreme or Horse Dildo (from Hankey’s) where my wrists/arms get tired trying to keep the shaft from flopping around.
This toy, like most of the giant horse toys is probably best used with a partner. Now, don’t let that comment minimize just how massive the flared head on this is. It’s huge, and even with a partner, only the most experienced are going to be able to use him. I think in soft firmness it might be damn near impossible for a solo user to get Santos XXL in due to the flop but with a partner I bet that’s the ideal firmness to give the head a bit more play. I see on the website that split firmness is an option (for added cost), that’s probably the sweet spot if money is no object.
This is the first toy I’ve bought from Naughty Fox. Overall I would say I’m very happy with the experience. They are located in Germany but the prices included VAT and the shipping costs were very reasonable ($15 to the US). It took 21 days to receive my in stock toy, according to the shipper they didn’t get the toy until 12 days after I ordered it. Now idk if that’s accurate but it did seem like a long time between ordering and shipping though 21 days is not too long for an international toy. My hopes have been raised mainly because John Thomas Toys somehow gets in stock toys to me within 4 days so I know it’s possible.
Honestly none of this would matter to me except for the fact that I picked an in stock toy thinking that it would ship out super quickly. I would have been more patient and ordered an also discounted custom firmness if I had known it was going to take 21 days.
Either way, don’t let that dissaude you from ordering, just have realistic expectations on timeframe. Again, Naughty Fox had very reasonable pricing, especially for a platinum silicone fantasy maker. The quality of the toy is very nice, I would put the firmness in line with a medium from Bad Dragon (in a similarly sized toy), my Santos XXL has a pastel coloring and a matte-not-shiny texture. I haven’t had any issues with cleaning the toy or mold growth but I have not owned it for very long, assuming you dry the toy after cleaning I wouldn’t expect any mold to grow more than with other silicone toys. I can confirm that my Santos XXL does not react with any of my other platinum silicone toys from different brands (as expected), which is a good sign for quality.
Like most horse dildos, the excitement comes from the pop-in and the sheer size fo the toy, there isn’t too much texture on the shaft but once you get the head in you’re not going to be thinking about anything else anyways. I would not say that Santos XXL is a riding dildo, his head is simply too big, he’s a take it slow and look in the mirror kind of toy (IMO).
Would I say that Santos XXL is worth it? If you like giant horse dildos, I would say he definitely is. I’d recommend split firmness with a soft shaft and medium base as I think it would make taking him a bit easier. The fact that Naughty Fox has sales and you can get him for under $300 makes this a good value.

Hankey’s Toys – Double Dildo XL
I’ve had my Double Dildo XL from Hankey’s Toys since last November (2023 Black Friday Sale) and he has been a super unique and really enjoyable dildo. You’ll notice in the comparison pics I couldn’t really find a good comparison outside of another Hankey’s Toy called the Three Amigos. Unlike the Three Amigos, the Double Dildo XL is only 2 dongs vs three so it’s less of a cylinder shape, though the widest side of the Double Dildo is wider than the widest side of the Three Amigos. I would still say the Double Dildo is a bit easier to take due to its overall shape vs the Three Amigos which takes a bit of navigating, lol.
The Double Dildo XL is a super wide (in one direction) toy, it has a max width of just over 5 inches by 3 inches for a max circumference (at the knot) of 14.5 inches!!!! Thankfully the Double Dildo is super tapered (it goes from 6.5 inch circumference to 14.5 inch so you have a lot of run-up before you’re challenging that super sized width.
I got my toy in the standard 75% soft firmness (it was a sale toy and I had no choice), but I do wish I got him in 40% soft firmness which is my new go to for Hankey’s Toys. I find the 40% soft firmness in the super mega giant sized dildos is more forgiving and enjoyable, for me at least.
The only negative I have with the Double Dildo is that there is no option to add a vac-u-lock hole. I’m guessing it has something to do with the thinnest part being the middle but in a toy that’s as wide as this I think they could have done it. I understand on the smaller toys but the XL Should come with the option, the Double Dildo has no issues standing on its own but I would have liked to use the vac-u-lock hole with my HiSmith machine, for now I’ve had to make do with a double sided suction cup, which works well enough but it would be better with the hole.
If you’re looking for a super unique, and super-wide experience, I highly recommend Double Dildo XL!

Bad Dragon – Austin XL
I first bought Austin XL back in 2020, it was my 2nd dildo (behind Chance XL), at the time I didn’t much care for him, I had him in soft and he was too floppy for me to use effectively at the time, so I sold him.
After having a conversation with another BD fan I decided that maybe I wasn’t being fair to Austin, so when an Austin in split firmness (soft shaft-firm base) came up as a flop with a cumtube and a suction cup I just had to buy it, and boy am I glad I did.
I can’t say if the split firmness or my much more experienced hole is the reason why Austin works for me (I’d assume it’s about 20% the firmness, 80% experience), but I can tell you that it absolutely DOES work for me now. Austin’s knot isn’t even close to the biggest knot toy I own and he’s smaller than many of the knot toys I use regularly but that’s not a bad thing. I like Austin’s wide and semi-flat shape that makes the knot manageable and enjoyable without absolutely destroying your hole.
I’ve found absolute enjoyment using my Austin XL with my hismith machine and a 6.5 inch plate, I wasn’t expecting the hismith to be able to knot me with Austin XL but… it did! What an amazing experience.
I regret not buying a new Austin XL (or keeping my old one) sooner, if only to give him a fair shake vs remembering my initial experience with him from when I was a relative novice to XL dildos…
Now, if you have other knotted toys is Austin worth it? Maybe, maybe not. He has a less pronounced knot vs Rex or Fenrir and it’s a smaller knot than Tucker or Razor (and obviously Dexter and Cole but those are in another class altogether). If you have a Tucker or a Razor or a Rex and you find those easy to and enjoyable, Austin may not be worth the money but of all my knot toys, Austin is the most fun on the HiSmith machine, Rex is also good but he’s got a lore rounder knot so it takes a little more doing to get him knotted with the machine. For me, Austin is the perfect size and shape knot to use with the sex machine on a nearly full stroke length (the longer the stroke the less torque and the less likely the machine will be able to push a toy in). Another benefit of Austin on the machine is his balance, a lot of toys want to spin around and go in sideways or upside down, especially toys with scrotums (looking at you John and Archer) – Austin on the other hand goes in the way you mount him to the plate!
I paid $160 for my Austin XL since he is a flop, a minor flop that I don’t even notice so for a split firmness toy with cum tube and suction cup, 160 is a great deal!

Hankey’s Toys – Ogre 4XL
STRETCHHHHHH! I bought my Ogre 4XL when he was on sale, I had my eye on him for the longest time but figured he would just be too big to use. Well guess what? He isn’t! I love this toy, he is tapered so that even less experienced users can get him started, and the more experience you have the further you can take him. He is the perfect toy to grow with. Yes, yes. He’s still massive and newbies aren’t going to be able to take him but the circumference at his head is only 11.6 inches. Obviously that’s not small but he’s tapered too so you can definitely squeeze him in if you true.
Ogre has no pop-in since he’s a gradually widening toy the whole way but that means he’s not only an impressive ride but a great toy to warm up for more blunt toys like a Tuarion XL or a Horse Dildo. My Ogre 4XL has a vac-u-lock hole for a suction cup but it’s really not needed, he is perfectly stable on the ground (he weighs a ton) and he won’t stay on the suction cup if you put him on a wall. I still ordered him with the hole since all my Hankey’s toys have them just in case I want to try something different.
The texture on Ogre 4XL is wonderful, as you can see from the pictures he has nice wrinkles along his shaft with some good ridges to simulate loose skin. He’s both visually appealing and physically stimulating if you ride him fast enough… With that being said, Ogre in 4XL is not a riding dildo, yea you can bounce on him but he’s a huge toy, this is more of a size-queen accomplishment toy for those who want to feel the stretch and see just how much they can take.
I have not hilted this toy yet but I’ve made it past half-way which is a great achievement in itself as far as I’m concerned!
Check out the comparison pics below, but I highly recommend you pick up Ogre 4XL if you’re a true size-queen. Like all Hankey’s toys you can use a promo code to help you save some money and if you can pick him up for 30% off then he’s a veritable bargain! My Ogre 4XL is in 40% soft firmness, I would recommend that firmness just so there is a little bit of give when you’re pushing the limits.

Twin Tail Creations – The Brooklyn Supreme
The Brooklyn Supreme is the champion of horse dildos. He’s massive, colorful, well shaped and relatively soft. I paid $400 for my Brooklyn Supreme, I had hoped to get a flop or a sale but then this guy came into the inventory and I decided to buy it. Shipping was supre discrete but it wasn’t fast. It took 2.5-3 weeks to get my in-stock toy. That’s not slow compared to most toy makers but it is slow compared to both BD and Hankey’s. My toy straightened out but I was a bit nervous when I opened the box since the head was completely folded over (the box was too small), for a $400 dildo I think it deserves a bigger box lol. My toy does not have a suction cup base and it is in soft firmness.
At 21 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the smallest point, he is truly a sight to behold. Now before you ask, no I haven’t been able to take Brooklyn Supreme yet, I was holding off on this review until I tried it a little more, but now I wanted to get the comparison pictures up on the site since it looks like Brooklyn Supreme is going to be one of those toys that takes a while and/or only works for me sporadically (like Hankey’s Horse Dildo). The problem for me isn’t even the width, I KNOW I can take 4 inch wide toys, they aren’t easy but in soft for sure I can make it work, the problem with The Brooklyn Supreme is the length and the floppiness, same with most horse dildos. My wrists get tired from trying to line it up and keep it from flopping out, which usually ends the play session in surrender. I do not think a medium firmness would be better though I have no experience with Twin Tail Creations’ medium firmness, I feel like soft is the appropriate firmness or maybe split firmness if that ever becomes a thing.
I fully intend to take The Brooklyn Supreme eventually, with enough warm-up and the right day I know I can take him, but until then he’s going to have to slot into the same category as my Italian Stallion (though the Brooklyn Supreme is markedly softer with a more forgiving head) and my Taurion XL – toys that I haven’t mastered yet.

I have successfully mastered Brooklyn Supreme! Okay, maybe not mastered, but I can get him in now pretty easily, only 7 or 8 inches deep though. Still what a toy!

Would I recommend Brooklyn Supreme? That’s a tough one. If you think you can take him then for sure it’s worth a look. Even though I can’t take him yet, I still like the looks of him and trying to get him in turns me on anyways. But 400 dollars is a lot to spend on a dildo, and it gets even more expensive if you choose some color options or add a suction cup base. Yes he is a TON of silicone and soft silicone is not cheap. While I did have to pay for shipping, it was cheaper than most other stores at only 11 dollars for west to east coast UPS shipping.
The Brooklyn Supreme is not a toy that pops up in inventory too often so it’s always a risk to wait for a sale, I think at $300, like I was able to get my Hunter Jack or Andre XXL for, he’s certainly worth it but for $400 it really becomes a tough call. I’m still glad I bought my Brooklyn Supreme just because he looks so great and is so massive but… If you can’t use him, that price is a hard pill to swallow.

Nothosaur – Oak XXL
I got my Oak XXL from Nothosaur on Amazon, the XXL is the largest size they sell there, which means that comparatively speaking my Oak XXL is smaller than most of my other recently bought toys (though I did just order an Archer L and Ika L), but the Nothosaur website sells an XXXL version for $289.99 (get 10% off with coupon code GiantDildos). The $289 for the XXL was a big step up in price for what I was looking for anyways.
I Picked my Nothosaur Oak XXL because I wanted a flexible toy with texture that I could use on my HiSmith machine. Oak 100% fits the bill there, he is extremely textured with little bumps all along the shaft in addition to some nicely designed veins. He also has a piercing at the tip but that is not super noticeable for a toy of this size on someone who is as experienced as I am.
I’m not sure what my firmness is, I think the default Amazon firmness is medium so we’ll assume that’s the case. Oak is extremely flexible and bendy (I’ll be putting up a video soon to show you what I mean), but he has a great suction cup that will stay attached to smooth surfaces extremely well. On my HiSmith machine I use a double sided suction cup to attach him to my large suction plate and it works great. For use on a wall or the floor Oak’s own suction cup is more than sufficient (again, see video). I wish that Oak had a cumtube (like I wish all my toys had a cumtube) but it’s not a big negative. He is still an insanely enjoyable ride.
Assuming that my Amazon bought toy is a medium firmness, that is the firmness I would recommend. Unlike some other toys, Nothosaur’s firmness runs on the softer side and that is a good thing. I love how flexible my Hunter Jack XXL is, same with my Conola. Oak is a toy that you can definitely get in medium firmness without having to worry.
If you have an f-machine like the hismith, I HIGHLY recommend getting Oak for a ton of stimulation. The bumps on the shafter a super unique experience and if you’re looking for sensation, this is your toy!
